Photo Gallery: By boat from the Villa la Madonnina, located in the community of Furore, along the Amalfi coast to Capri.

The photos show the spectacular landscape of the Amalfi coast and Capri.
Every time we are in our Villa la Madonnina at the Amalfi cost and the weather conditions are good we rent a boat to go to Capri. The boat is delivered to platform below our villa. Then we bring the driver back to Amalfi and start the trip along the coast. Normally we pass the li Galli islands, follow the coast line, go to Capri and go around the island.
Then we have lunch in the restaurant Bagni Tiberio. This restaurant is between the entrance of the Blue Grotto and Marina Grande. The have a "parking" service which works likes the following: you drive close to the beach and wave, somebody from the restaurant will pick you up and then you can have a relaxed lunch in a very good restaurant. It is built between the remains of a villa of the Roman emperor Tiberius, who nearly 2000 years ago managed the vast
Roman Empire from the Capri Island. Feel the "spiritus loci" and think for a moment that an emperor also relaxed here at the same place.
Going from Amalfi to
Capri takes about 1, 5 hours with a 50 hp boat, without slowing down, swimming/snorkelling in a beautiful bay...
